Failed Policy #1: Get Revenge at all Costs I thought I'd never get the pain out of my system. Eventually I learned everybody has their own sorrows in life, and although mine were acutely painful, I faced them and achieved reality apart from denial. What I wanted more than anything else was escape, a natural human reaction to torment, torture, abuse, and entrapment. The more I relapsed from what I thought was unimaginable, the more I realized where I came from and how I was not entirely unique. Of course injustices hit me hard. They hit everybody hard. Time separated me from my most unclear thinking, and what I had thought I was eventually became a wrong thought. If a feeling is painful, we human beings of flesh and bone try to counter it. It's natural. I was after a counter of the feelings I was given by injustices. So, being a human being, I attempted to counter them. And, being one to consider others, I attempted it in a way that would help others. The reality is, many people just get by on making the world worse for everybody else. |
